   Reporting directly to the plant manager, responsible for program management of occupational safety, environmental management, ergonomics, workplace injury, worker’s compensation, and plant security 300 employee manufacturing site, 3 shifts, 24/7 operations. Accomplishments Successfully rebuilt a struggling safety, health, and environmental program from non-compliance to passing EHS audits and recertification (3rd party audits). Implemented 53 EHS programs, including: Confined Space, Contractor Safety, Electrical Safety, Emergency Action Plan, Fall Protection, Hazard Communications, Hazardous Waste Permitting, Human Factors Ergonomics, Lockout Tagout (LOTO), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Powered Industrial Vehicle, and Visitor Safety. Tracked and monitored Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) from 2.09 (Dec 2021) to 1.16 (July 2023). Reporting injury and illness trends daily, weekly, monthly, and annually. Monitored corrective and preventative actions. Monitored non-hazardous waste, hazardous waste, universal waste, recyclables, and rebates to reduce, reuse, and recycle products, materials, and packaging. Organized teams to monitor waste reduction, handling, storage, and transportation of waste materials.
