A member of the Senior Management Team, specifically leading a new national programme for suicide prevention, leading a dispersed team to deliver the SAMH suicide prevention strategy and suicide prevention objectives of the We Won\'t Wait organisational strategy.Collaboratively building the new cross-sectoral Suicide Prevention Scotland delivery collective to implement the Scottish Government and COSLA Creating Hope Together Action Plan. Providing strategic leadership on implementing actions, including national campaigns, web development, social movement development, learning journeys, stigma reduction, and understanding help-seeking and help-giving. Working in partnership with academics to blend academic research with lived experience evidence and professional knowledge to develop projects, services, and policy positions. In particular, concerning suicide, bereavement support and taking a person-centred approach to building resilience to suicidality. Operationalising a regional strategic partnership and delivering a step change in community-based work across five strategic priority themes.
