ABOUT DAN DEMARCO
As a business lawyer I focus my legal practice on advising clients in corporate restructuring, commercial transactions and bankruptcy matters. I advocate for a wide range of constituents involved with financially troubled enterprises, developing and implementing legal strategies to maximize value and to regain financial stability. I often help firms with financial strength navigate the risks and opportunities around these financially troubled companies, from the Fortune 500 to the middle market. I have extensive experience representing creditors, both secured and unsecured, creditor\'s committees, indenture trustees, trustees, receivers, purchasers, borrowers and debtors in reorganization proceedings. I also have expertise in lender liability, business torts, bankruptcy, mechanics and materialmen’s liens, collections and commercial litigation. At Hahn Loeser, I co-chair the firm’s Commercial Services & Restructuring Practice, which is consistently recognized as a leading practice in Ohio, including by Chambers USA. I am an active member of several professional and bar organizations, and am Immediate Past President of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA)’s Northern Ohio Chapter, I serve on the Global TMA Board of Trustees and on the Board of the American Board of Certification, an organization that certifies business bankruptcy, consumer bankruptcy and creditors’ rights across the United States. Outside of the office, I enjoy cycling, travel and the Great Lakes.
