Responsible for sourcing of 110 purchase categories including IT software/hardware/telecom, banking operations, marketing, HR services, market data, credit data, investment & trading services, and professional services- Team delivered over $500 million cost-out savings 2022-24 through proactive category management, strong business alignment, and assertive negotiation approaches- Decreased average contract cycle time by 20% through streamlined legal engagement, automation, queue management, reporting, catalog purchasing, and increased PO fulfillment- Stood up offshore sourcing team in India, to increase overall team capacity, provide round-the-clock coverage, compliance, and efficiency- Aggressively completed sourcing & contracting work for Truist Insurance Holdings and Sterling Capital divestitures via negotiation of ‘day 1’ service contracts, assignment consents, and right-to-use contractual provisions. Resulted in a $10.1B gain upon completion of sale- Promote risk excellence and sound risk management as the first line of defense- Partner with the Truist executive leaders to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity,control, consumption and material cost reductions as measured and compared with world classbenchmarks- Implement process improvements in all phases of the source-to-pay life cycle (i.e, supplierrationalization, volume aggregation, preferred vendor programs, product/service requirementsand demand management) to reduce supplier costs and proactively manage third party relatedrisks
