ABOUT DAN COSTELLOE
I have experience on a variety of project types through my work as a Public Health Engineer. I have been involved in multi-disciplinary projects including mixed use buildings, high rise, sports facilities, educational facilities and office developments, with Clients from both the Private and Public sectors. The projects I have been involved in include new build, refurbishment and fit outI work closely with architects, structural engineers, services engineers, quantity surveyors and contractors in multi- disciplinary teams on a range of different projects including numerous projects with strong sustainability credentials.The technical content of my work has included the full range of Public Health Engineering including fire protection services, underground drainage, sanitary plumbing, piped water services and natural gas services. I have a keen interest in all aspects of Public Health Engineering including the efficient use of both potable and non-potable water, particularly where water is a scarce resource. I am also interested in environmentally efficient buildings and sustainable building design.I have experience in writing reports and specifications. In addition, I am highly competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, AutoCAD and other public health engineering software.
