   Assist upper management in direct oversight daily operations and serve as a champion of all of company initiatives including but not limited to safety, productivity, quality of products, continual development of people and processes, production systems, and engineering tools. Ensure that team is following all policies and procedures. o Record barriers and escalate; firmly and effectively. o Hire and supervise staff and ensure back up personnel where and when needed. o Ensure compliance on all training requirements for team members. o Hold weekly individual/team meetings. o Review with team all project status and update upper management as to the status of the projects. o Review ECN status. o Ensure team members own their product(s) and all responsibilities associated with that ownership including but not limited to sustaining, new production introduction, productivity, etc. o Participate in Annual Review Process for team members. o Aid in providing team with all necessary materials to get their job done, if needed escalate to upper management. Works closely with internal and external stakeholders and customers in overseeing and coordinating project priorities, scope, resource requirements, and timing of deliverables; assist management with evaluation and development of a project plan and participate in the planning and formulation of design alternatives and solutions; monitor project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project members and key stakeholders; remain aware of any potential problems and work to mitigate any risks; prepare reports on project progress and problems; ensure projects are completed according to corporate and customer plan.
