SKI TRAVEL UNLIMITED Established in 1981. Ski Travel provides Ski/Snowboard trips and Snow Escape events to high schools in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. area. In addition, Ski Travel operates the CollegeXBreaks Ski / Snowboard events for students from over 400 U.S. Colleges and Universities to Mont Tremblant, Quebec, Canada as well as other premier ski resorts. FAIRFAX SURF SHOP Core Surf | Skate | Snow since 1976 The largest Skateboarding event / fundraiser for Children\'s Hospital National Medical Center. This event has raised nearly Kids raising money for kids. 300+ Skaters giving back to the community! Skaters from ages 5 - 50 who raise money to benefit Children\'s National will Sk8 For A Cause and take a symbolic ride around Wakefield Skate Park while picking up gifts from our sponsors along the way. The skater who raises the most money will win a scholarship to Camp Woodward. The top 10 will win prize packs! Over in prizes. The competition begins with preliminary tryouts at Wakefield Skate Park. There are four age brackets - 11 & U, 14 & U, 18 & U, 30 & Over and a separate Advanced/Sponsored Division. There are 4 event categories for each age bracket to compete in - Half Pipe Jam, Best Trick, Park/Street Course, and Game of S.K.A.T.E.(beginner and advanced). Prizes for the event and silent auction are provided through the incredible support and generosity of companies, brands and manufacturers of the US skateboard industry.
