With a degree in Mechanical Engineering, I was quite clear on my career goals from the beginning. And in a career of 10+ years in industrial construction, I have had immense opportunities to design systems and manage their construction for large-scale industrial projects. Over the years, I have gained expertise in project management, including defining project scopes, managing budgets, assessing and mitigating risks, and procuring material. I have also had experience of interfacing with government bodies and officials and private parties to acquire land for projects and develop pitches to procure project funding from management, so far, I have quite successful presenting my projects!    In this role, I oversee Texas gas measurement systems, evaluate impact of on-going projects on existing measurement systems, direct risk management initiatives, and provide troubleshooting support on active meters to the field and material balance groups. Some key achievements in this role:• Spearheaded multiple audits of Texas gas measurement system, resulting in identifying and correcting cause for revenue loss of $1M per month.• Established measurement systems, including meters, flow computer, solar or AC power systems, and sampling and analyzing equipment for 250+ gas measurement projects under consideration.• Provided guidance on measurement equipment for ongoing capital and maintenance projects by recommending design, correcting drawings, and confirming measurement systems used comply with company and industry standards.
