ABOUT DAN ANE
I graduated from Brock University with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting Degree (First Class Standing) and obtained my designation in 2007. My current role is a strategic finance support for the Water Wastewater division / Public Works Department at Niagara Region. My previous role as Senior Manager Decision Support Services at the City of Niagara Falls allowed me the opportunity to partner with many of the departments at the City on special project initiatives in a growing and diverse community. Previous to joining the City of Niagara Falls, I worked for the Niagara Region overseeing an amazing team of finance professionals supporting numerous departments. Prior to joining the Region of Niagara, I worked in general accounting practice for 10 years providing accounting, assurance, and taxation services to a variety of owner operated businesses and not-for-profit organizations in the Niagara region. I also participate in the CPA, CA education process by marking for Brock University’s Department of Accounting.
