About Damon Vonn
Follow the music!Los Angeles born and raised, I am a music industry professional & creative. In multiple roles and wearing many hats, I have traveled the world as a Front of House Engineer, Tour Manager, Production Manager and Manager for artists including Ozomatli, Gavin DeGraw, Colbie Caillat, Mickey Guyton, Dave Koz & Sheila E. I am also a Music Director. Since 2007, I have held the title of MD for the global creative communications agency, CG Creative. With CG Creative, I’ve directed countless corporate events here in the US and abroad as well as written and recorded live corporate event theme songs for companies like HP, Microsoft, Isagenix, Hubspot & Etisalat.In 2019, I co-founded Culture Management Group with my friend and business partner Wil-Dog Abers of the Grammy-nominated band, Ozomatli. I serve as CMG’s Managing Director, chiefly responsible for setting the go-forward vision and mission of the company and the artists we choose to represent.Since the first time I held a CamCorder as a child, video directing and editing has been a passion of mine. Adding \"Music Video Director” to my list of accomplishments, I have now successfully completed and released multiple music videos and innumerable social media campaigns and streaming events for our clients and artists.Growing up in a house of music, I am a singer, musician (multiple instruments) and a songwriter. My love of songwriting inspired me to start a platform called Song Thread, where members are held accountable to submit a new song based on a theme (or catch-phrase) provided weekly to the community of singer/songwriters.(ping me if you\'d like to join!)
