About Damon Hickman

As a Project Manager at ENTRUST Solutions Group, I lead the Southeast Joint Use Team that works with multiple clients and communication companies. I manage team workload and budgets for various programs, negotiate contract renewals, and meet with new and existing clients to discuss opportunities and solutions. I also work with new acquisitions to integrate their teams to our standards and assist with their ongoing projects.I have a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Findlay and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Akron. I also hold a Project Management Professional certification issued by the Project Management Institute. I have a strong engineering and project management background and experience in the oil and energy industry, working with both Duke Energy and Marathon Petroleum and created the SouthEast Joint Use team Attachment in the Carolinas. My goal is to leverage my skills and expertise to deliver high-quality results and grow professionally.

   Lead all distribution efforts and operations, collaborate with business development, and develop strategies for continued growth of the SE region. Manage and supervise a team of over 230 distribution professionals, including 10 direct reports, resulting in one of the highest overall grossing district in the company. Manage cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with performance metrics such as schedule, budget, profitability, client satisfaction, and quality control. Lead quality assurance efforts, forecast monthly fee revenue, and oversee project staffing needs in coordination with the Vice President. Assist in creating a full project dashboard for budget and schedule tracking to show CPI, SPI, turnaround times, remaining budgets, and overall backlog calculator to accurately track overall work in hand. Lead all Distribution proposal efforts in the Southeast with collaboration from Transmission and Substation group. Identified and addressed training needs for direct reports, coordinating with the Chief Legal Officer for in-person safety trainings and Vice Presidents for project management specific training programs Participated in an external ISO:9001 audit for continued certification in the Southeast district. Create a new internal tool for cross-collaboration that promoted cross-selling and resource identification around the company, highlighting regional specialties and existing client relationships.
