In addition, Windsor Public Schools embraces the use of technology in instruction. Windsor is a Google Apps for Education School district. All students are assigned Chromebooks in grades 2-12. In PreK-1, classrooms are assigned carts of iPads. Windsor Public Schools is a great place to teach and learn! As an educator new to the district, we offer prior to each new school year a three-day induction program focused on instructional and community partnerships that include a tour of the town, a luncheon with a community partner and an off-site team building experience. For educators new to the profession, time for mentoring and support is job-embedded. Windsor Public Schools has official partnerships for pre-service educators with the following universities: University of Connecticut, Central Connecticut State University, and University of St. Joseph in Connecticut.
