ABOUT DAMIEN SAUVERON

I am Honorary Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology since 10/2025 and I was Dean from 10/2020 to 10/2025.I am full professor since 09/2022 at University of Limoges.I am the head of the CREATE (CybeRsEcurity and Artificial inTElligence), a team of MathIS (Mathematics and Information Security) research group in XLIM, a laboratory of the the Faculty of Science and Technology at University of Limoges.I am co-Pi of the Chair of Excellence, CV-SAN-T, on cybersecurity of health data.Since 2012, I am holder of a premium for scientific excellence.Since 2010, I have been involved in more than 40 research projects (15 as PI or co-PI) involving european or national or industrial fundings.Between 2011 and 2019, I have been a member of the CNU 27, the National Council of Universities (for France) which is the national authority in charge of recruiting academics in Computer Sciences and following up their careers.I have been chair of IFIP WG 11.2 Pervasive Systems Security between 2014 and 2022, having previously been appointed vice-chair of the working group.I have been involved in more than 100 research events in a range of capacities (including PC chair, General Chair, Publicity Chair, Editor/Guest Editor, Steering Committee member, and Program Committee member). I have served as an external reviewer for more than 20 Ph.D. theses in foreign countries and France and I have served as examiner for 6.I have co-authored more than 100 research papers.I have successfully supervised 7 Phd thesis in last 8 years.My teachings are related to Secure embedded systems, Smart Cards, IoT, Network and Cybersecurity.
