He later used this experience to develop a UAS program responsible for producing cost savings and efficiency gains on behalf of an industry-leading aerial survey company. In 2017, Damien completed his aircraft ratings and began working as an instructor at a southern California flight school where he authored a Columbia 400 training syllabus and volunteered in community events. Gaining valuable experience, he progressed as a corporate pilot for V1 Aviation and eventually went on to co-found Level Up Aero. In this role, he was instrumental in ensuring regulatory compliance and overseeing corporate finances. Most recently, Damien transitioned to Part 121 flight operations and is currently serving as a Captain for SkyWest Airlines. When he isn’t in the air, you can find Damien spending winters skiing in the Rockies and his summers hiking in the mountains and National Parks near Moab, UT.
