About Damien Spizzo
As the Head of Pickleball and Adult Tennis at Westwood Country Club, I lead and manage the racquet sports programs and events for our members and guests. I have over 20 years of experience in the sports industry, with a strong focus on coaching, event management, team building, and sports marketing. I hold multiple certifications from the Professional Pickleball Registry, Professional Tennis Registry, and USPTA & PTR, as well as a Master of Tennis in the performance field.In addition to my current role, I am also a featured tennis and racquet sports insider for ESPN radio, where I provide analysis of current and past events related to tennis and pickleball. I have a proven track record of success as a professional player and coach of pickleball, having established three current top ten players in the world and ranked in the top 25 in the world singles. My key tool to instant success is my methodology and background in psychology, which I studied at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and the University of Southern California. I have a passion for learning and adapting at the highest level of competitive sports, and I aim to share my knowledge and skills with others who share the same love for the game.
