ABOUT DAMIEN BROXTON
As a student who had the wonderful opportunity of attending an Early College High School, I experienced being a student in high school as well a college at the same time. This process has molded me into the person I am today. A person with initiative and always moving ahead of the game.My high school education and involvement has granted me the access to attend the amazing University of Texas at Austin. I am a Honors student majoring in Political Communications on the Pre-Law track. There I am Co-Chair of the Freshman Action Team’s Community Engagement Committee, who serves as representatives at the Big XII Conference and active workers to create safe spaces and involvement opportunities. I am also on the committee for the Texas Black Homecoming organization that cultivates a safe space for enjoyment and recognition of African Americans achieving in stride on the 40 acres. Lastly, directly making an impact to my hometown I am a Legislative intern for State Representative Christian Manuel.
