ABOUT DAMIAN BADIA
I graduated from Florida International University in April 2022 with a BA in Psychology and Natural and Applied Sciences, and a minor in Chemistry. I am a first-generation graduate and a recipient of multiple scholarships, such as the Blue and Gold Scholar, the Young Guller Scholar, and the Lawrence D. Schaffer Scholar. I have also completed a social/behavioral human research certification from CITI Program, which allows me to conduct ethical and responsible research with human subjects. My education and work experience have equipped me with a strong foundation of skills and knowledge in the medical field, such as nonprofit organizations, volunteering, chemistry, and basic life support. I am motivated to continually expand my skill set and knowledge, with the ultimate aim of not only enhancing my personal growth but also becoming a mentor and contributing to the betterment of our community.
