Building my skills has been quite the journey. My leadership and team-building skills derive from my numerous years serving in student leadership, community organizations, and facilitating networks on a national level. My clinical knowledge stems from 2.5 years of Medical School before changing to a more suitable career in healthcare administration. My professional interest include health system management, quality improvement, healthcare delivery, public and population health, development and coordination of research, government relations, and community engagement. I am receptive and responsive to criticism; direct in my communications; both a team player and leader; one that brings value to a network and produces deliverables in the high-paced and demanding healthcare field.
