I am a systems engineering leader with experience building and scaling systems engineering organizations for safety‑critical autonomous systems. My work sits at the intersection of platform architecture, safety, verification & validation, and cross‑functional execution.At Autonomous Solutions Inc, I built the systems engineering function from the ground up—defining roles, processes, and tooling where none previously existed. I currently serve as the technical leader for a matrixed organization of ~30 systems engineers, coordinating closely with safety, test, software, hardware, and product teams to deliver autonomy platforms across multiple markets.I have owned system definition and readiness across requirements, architecture, and V&V for autonomy platforms including perception (Obstacle Detection & Obstacle Avoidance), command & control, and vehicle‑level integration. I have direct accountability for safety readiness and have blocked deployments when evidence was insufficient—prioritizing disciplined engineering and risk management over schedule pressure.My work has focused on hazard analysis (HARA), safety requirements, verification strategy, and standards‑aligned development (ISO 25119, ANSI 15.06, ASPICE, ISO 9001).I am passionate about building strong engineering teams and systems. I have mentored and onboarded engineers across systems and perception disciplines, led technical hiring and interviews, and helped develop future technical leads and system architects. I care deeply about clarity, documentation, and creating engineering environments where teams can execute safely, efficiently, and with confidence.I am most interested in leadership roles spanning Engineering Management, Senior Systems Engineering, and technically focused Product roles, particularly in autonomy, robotics, and other safety‑critical domains.
