   Dallas Thornton leads PACCAR’s digital engineering organization, focused on harnessing data to architect and deliver transformative platforms that drive value creation across business lines and functions. Digital includes data science, business intelligence, data engineering, data governance and privacy, master data management, API management and integrations, database administration, app platform engineering, and AWS and GCP cloud engineering functions for PACCAR. The team works with business units to build data-driven platforms, machine learning models, enterprise data assets, connected streaming capabilities, and smart applications that enable connected vehicles, data services for fleets and dealers, marketing, sales, supply chain / logistics, manufacturing, and service operations for the company, addressing challenges such as connected services, market forecasting, customer segmentation, pricing optimization, fulfillment and logistics, capacity planning, and predictive maintenance. PACCAR is a $32B Fortune 200 global technology leader in the design, manufacture and customer support of light, medium, and heavy duty trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF nameplates. PACCAR designs and manufactures advanced diesel engines and provides customized financial services, information technology, and parts related to its principal business.
