ABOUT DALLASCIET HARPER MACK

My academic and intellectual development has been shaped by a deep commitment to service, creativity, and the advancement of career and technical education within the beauty and wellness industry. As both a licensed cosmetologist and cosmetology educator with over fifteen years of professional experience, I have spent much of my career bridging the gap between technical expertise, curriculum design, and workforce development. My current work has strengthened my intellectual focus on educational reform, program rebuilding, and student-centered learning environments that prepare graduates for sustainable careers.Throughout my studies, I have become increasingly interested in the intersections between entrepreneurship, public education, wellness, and industry standards. This interdisciplinary lens allows me to analyze issues from multiple perspectives—policy, instruction, business, and community impact. My academic journey now reflects a commitment to building innovative learning models, especially for Mississippi’s cosmetology and barbering students, and developing supportive pathways for aspiring professionals.I am motivated by a desire to create greater access, stronger compliance systems, and more equitable opportunities for students and professionals.My professional goal is to strengthen cosmetology and barbering education across Mississippi by developing compliant, industry-aligned programs that prepare students for licensure, employment, and entrepreneurship. I am committed to advancing curriculum quality, workforce training, and wellness-based approaches within the beauty industry.
