About Dallas Anderson

My current role for the Boeing Co. is Customer Quality Support (CQS) Manager for the 737 program. In our group we help facilitate any and all customer concerns for the production of their aircraft during the final assembly manufacturing build and delivery process. In 2012 my career started on the shop floor as an hourly employee in the Fabrication Division, during that time I was able to work for 3 different MBUs, IAS(Integrated Aero Structures), ADC(Advanced Developmental Composites) and Skin and Spar at two different sites: Auburn and Fredrickson. During my time on the shop floor I have supported most of the commercial programs and some military derivatives, I was able to work with both metal and composites from sub-assembly, layup to running CNC mills and robots. In 2018 while at Skin and Spar I transitioned into management as a Finish Cell manager supporting the Tank Lines, Paint Booths and Shipping. In September 2019, I moved into my current role as a Final Assembly manager for the 737 program. My leadership philosophy is based around building and maintaining relationships, I truly believe investing in people by taking the time to ask someone “how they doing?”, going out of my way to meet someone new and trying to meet face-to-face as often as possible really makes the difference in getting the best out of people especially when having hard conversations. I believe in empowering the teams I am working with by giving them the knowledge they need to be able to remove any roadblocks in front of them, then to reaching out to me if the challenge still persists. I have been given a lot of very cool opportunities by previous leaders I have worked with and I am excited to be able to pay that forward to the team members who go the extra mile. I also believe in “leaning-into” the challenges that the team is facing, hard work is the corner-stone that got this great company through its first 100 years and it will also be what gets us through our next 100 years.
