Interact positively with employees and the community to provide needed information and to promote the District in a favorable manner. • Calculate salaries and stipend payments for employees, set-up new employees in Finance Plus, make necessary changes prior to payment being processed with the adjusted amount of pay. Follow-up on salary adjustments.• Ensure that all personnel data entered into Finance Plus is accurate and complete.• Supply building principals and department supervisors with information they need regarding employee files, payroll, personnel policy and procedures and any certification information as requested.• Audit and maintain certification and licensing information of certified or licensed professionals, paraprofessionals and auxiliary employees.• Process all requests online with SBEC for employees not yet completely certified in their assignment. Maintain files and monitor certification deficiencies and employee’s progress status to ensure all certification requirements are met prior to the expiration date. • Assist new employees in the completion of the hiring process. Securing documents required to complete an employee file in compliance with State rules governing employee files and recordkeeping regulations. • Complete Verification of Employment for all employees.• Monitor Service Records to update years of service and send out when requested.• Perform other duties assigned.
