Lead various connector initiatives/strategies to push and pull data from various operational (Salesforce, AWS Event Bridge) and analytics systems (AWS S3) to Vendia\'s permissioned blockchain. Leading this initiative required a complex understanding of disturbed systems, AWS, internal / customer communications, project management, and coordinating with a distributed team (US, Australia). Lead a project to improve the observability of our key distributed system. Used OpenTelemetry and various alarming / monitoring strategies to; gather data on / prioritize production incidents / flaky integration tests. This change reduced our production/test MTTR (Mean Time to Resolution) from 30 minutes to 1 and doubled our releases. Also used this observability data to create a strategy that reduced critical system faults from 3-2 times per week to 0.
