My name is Raleigh, and I\'m the Director of Industry Engagement at Greenlight America, a new organization dedicated to winning siting and permitting approval for clean energy projects by mobilizing grassroots supporters. We partner with industry stakeholders and our network of local groups and leaders to demonstrate homegrown support for clean energy projects.

   Greenlight America is a new independent non-profit focused on leveraging grassroots energy to help more clean energy and transmission projects win local permitting and approval more quickly. In the next decade, the U.S. must build clean power projects and more than miles of transmission lines to hit emissions reduction goals. The biggest bottleneck is not cost or technology, it\'s approvals at the local level: fossil fuel-funded groups and local NIMBY efforts are doing a great job turning out constituents to block clean energy projects, while supporters aren\'t showing up. Our founding team has led some of the largest grassroots organizing networks in the country, and we are building a scalable campaign hub for engaging and mobilizing local residents in support of clean energy and the substantial economic benefits it can bring to the communities where it\'s built.
