Directed a team of 15 high-performing developers across two strategic priorities: Built and delivered time-saving re-usable components and established an industry-leading mobile platform. Mentored a diverse talent of college students through the MESA Mentorship Program and professionals through the Cisco Multiplier Effect. Delivered more than 80 reusable components for use in flagship products, providing the components for a consistent user experience across products saving hundreds of hours of dev time. Built a MVP using Ionic 6, a mobile application using a voice of the customer approach. This mobile application is a companion to CX Cloud, designed to give users on-the-go access to their Cisco assets, cases, and advisories. Introduced and qualified several new technologies (BrowserStack, Ionic 6, AppFlow, Sentry.io) into the development process. I drove the collaboration and negotiation with vendors, cross-functional teams, internal compliance and governance, and senior leadership to procure industry-leading toolsets and services for my teams. Emphasized inclusive teamwork, innovation, constructive code reviews and automated unit and E2E testing. I have my team’s back when challenges arise, and promoted working together to discover better-together solutions and a way forward. Partnered with Cisco Security teams to achieve compliance with Cisco’s Security standards and processes. Built in automation as early in the development lifecycle as possible, including mobile builds through Ionic AppFlow using CircleCI. Brought together technical leads, and architects to learn about new features and “how stuff works” for greater transparency in priorities and technical acumen gaining a head start on evaluating new features.
