Responsible for a broad range of activities, taking ownership of all corporate systems as well as specific tools and process for the customer support and managed Kubeflow offering. Corporate IT I took responsibility for day-to-day tasks such as user provisioning / deprovisioning, patching, integration, automation, compliancy audits, new tool identification and integration and supplier relations and negotiation. The suite of tools included; Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, Hubspot, Gong, Confluence, Jira software, PostgreSQL, Jira Service Management, Github, Zoom, Azure, AWS Customer Support and Enablement Here I was responsible for systems and process definition, tool configuration and integration, ongoing monitoring, and improvement to facilitate improved staff efficiency and better customer experience. The tools in use included; Zendesk, SendSafely, PagerDuty, PostgreSQL Database Services, Grafana, Tableau Reporting. Managed Systems This part of the business provided a managed Kubernetes platform for clients. I was responsible for initial facility’s design, management network and infrastructure, process definition and compliancy monitoring. My role additionally encompassed running the team of SRE’s whose day to day tasks included monitoring system health, investigating and diagnosis of alerts, working with the customers to schedule and implement change requests and working with the development and engineering teams to rectify bugs. Customer Identity management and authentication systems We ran an identity management service that allowed our customers to connect and use any of our services including the support portal, E-learning platform, and Kubeflow as a Service, using a single logon. For this I was responsible for configuration and maintenance as well as ongoing monitoring for unusual or suspicious activity and modify configurations and automation to deal with attacks. For this service we used Okta and Okta Workflows.
