I am passionate about challenging the status quo, searching for innovative and sustainable solutions that increase building performance and decrease long term maintenance costs. Using my 25 years of experience (including lesson’s learned) I assist project teams and clients to understand future implications of design choices. I also love the business side of consulting as well as asset management, diving into financial analytics helps me personally invest in solutions. I enjoy working with clients that challenge solutions, wanting more than status quo and are willing to take calculated risks to ensure their long term asset financial health is maintained. I actively invest in client’s needs and wants helping all stakeholders be successful.I love working with peers and colleagues that ask questions, why do we do it that way? Why can’t we change it? Is there something better? How do we get better? What do I need to do? People that ask questions motivate me to actively learn and strive for continuous improvement.What has my career involved?All aspects of building construction, building restoration, and asset management including:• Operations and Capital Planning of $550 Million in assets;• structural design;• new building construction quality assurance and quality control• design build, design bid build and construction• large portfolio roof replacement;• low and high rise façade and cladding repair and replacement;• conventional and pre-stressed parking garage concrete restoration;• building mechanical systems replacement;• fire alarm and life safety systems replacement and renewal; and• capital planning including Reserve Fund Studies, multi building portfolio review, due diligence reviews for pre-purchase and vendor reporting. I thrive in a fast paced environment relying on understanding important and urgent tasks with respect to clients, stakeholder and project management responsibilities.
