Somehow, an internship in a local radio station led to a career spanning over four decades, all in my hometown of Atlanta. My work as Senior Investigative Reporter at FOX 5 Atlanta was defined by deep dives into government and business practices and unveiling stories of waste and ethical misconduct. As a freelance professional, I am finishing up a murder mystery based on some of the most prominent cases I covered. At the same time, I continue to use my research skills to create unique videos for the corporate and non-profit world, consult on crisis communications, and teach journalists and those who deal with journalists an overall media strategy.My mission revolves around truth, education, and impact. The transition to freelance work enables me to craft compelling narratives and mentor the next generation of journalists.
