Working closely with Design with multiple Motorcycle models, developing run-down strategies and performing joint analysis during prototype phase through to volume production. Perform Risk and PUWER assessments on new and current Machines and processes. Program and support a variety of Assembly processes on a fast-paced production line including Servo presses, Vin-stamping, Brake and coolant Fill and ECU/ABS Programming. Specify requirements for new Lines including machinery, Tooling, Line Layouts and Networking. Produce Run-down strategies and Fastener Data analysis on Bosch & Atlas tooling to improve efficiencies and maintain quality control. Developing new In-House built machinery, including Design, Panel Wiring/Testing and PLC/HMI Programming. Some of these include a Crankshaft Deburring machine and Crankshaft Drying Robot. Produce manuals for In-House built machinery to support Puwer and CE Marking requirements. Programming Fanuc Robots including a LR-Mate and CRX10iA. Manage and Program Instruments (ABS, ECU, Rider interface) for Spares requirements. Produce Mechanical, Electrical and Pneumatic CAD Drawings. Introduced both Bosch and Atlas intelligent tooling to a new assembly line, incorporating operator guidance systems for both. Completed a project to replace a legacy air gauging system on the crankshaft line, this was developed using an In-house built station and Sylcom Software.
