Job Description • Responsible for the initiation, planning, and execution of IT- ERPs Projects (i.e. Intex - a German based ERP for textiles and Microsoft Dynamics NAV). • Understanding the business /department requirements by using business process mapping, identifying and quantifying process inefficiencies which can be improved through IT automation & software interventions.• Understanding users’ practical needs and design, test, and develop/customise to the extent possible to meet those needs after initiating testing and troubleshooting.• Implementing, monitoring and controlling the ERPs modules, integrations and their backups. • Upgrading / updating of systems version/patches, testing of patches and provide training to key users as per defined frequency and changes done by software vendors.• Inhouse development and integration with ERPs if required and possible. • Constant engagement with the team to motivate, develop their personnel growth opportunities and understand grievances. Provide constructive solutions to the problems.• Encourage out-of-box thinking & work on new initiatives to bring tangible benefit to the organization.• Leading meetings among cross-functional project teams/users like Sales, Dispatch, Purchase, Production, Inventories, Quality Control, Finance Receivables/payables.
