A relentless champion for education and social justice, Dalbin has dedicated nearly two decades to driving transformative change within the non-profit sector. As Senior Advisor for Policy and Community Impact at NYEC, he spearheads state and local policy initiatives, empowering a diverse coalition of stakeholders – from workforce boards to the very youth they serve – to achieve brighter futures. His career is a testament to the power of collaborative leadership and a deep commitment to building stronger communities. Dalbin has spearheaded impactful programs addressing critical needs in public safety, mental health, immigration, and child welfare. His expertise encompasses strategic planning, fundraising, and communication, consistently delivering transformative policies with measurable results. He excels in environments demanding collaboration and consensus, particularly when shaping policies that uplift marginalized communities. For over a decade, Dalbin has led community-based coalitions, achieving systems-level change and advancing social justice. A lifelong learner, Dalbin is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education from the University of Miami, building upon his Master of Social Work and Master of Education degrees. He is also a proud alumna of the Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education program in public leadership, and a member of the The National Society of Leadership and Success. Driven by an unwavering belief in empowerment and inclusivity, Dalbin brings a unique blend of non-profit leadership, strategic communication, youth mentorship, and community organizing expertise. His mission is to forge a more equitable society where every individual, especially those from strategically-underinvested communities, can not only survive but thrive.
