ABOUT DALARA HOLM
Dalara’s BIO Dalara was born in Romania and raised in Vienna, Austria. Growing up in a city with such a long history in design and architecture as Vienna was very inspiring to her and led to her decision to become an interior designer. One of her perks of growing up in Austria was traveling all over Europe from a very young age and experiencing different cultures and designs. As a former student of sociology it is very interesting for Dalara to observe how the interior design of people’s homes reflect their personalities. Designing is much more than spaceplanning, choosing furniture and rendering it is to understand your clients desires and than creating something unique. Someone’s home is a very intimate affair and requires both, professional skills and the ability to listen. Dalara’s qualities as a designer are amplified by her personality and style. Her strength is to combine contemporary, European designs with a comfortable and warm touch. In 2012 Dalara moved to Santa Monica with her husband. She attends the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and will receive her Associates Degree in Interior Design at the end of 2013.
