Led client meetings and value engineering workshops, achieving over £4M in savings through justified standard departures (e.g, CD 127) and design optimisation.Hegra Road (AlUla, KSA): Managed the highway design team across concept, preliminary, and detailed design phases (RIBA). Coordinated extensively with structures, geotechnics, drainage, heritage, and environmental specialists to navigate complex site challenges (wadis, heritage sites), delivering BIM Level 2 outputs (KSA & AASHTO standards).£200M A40 Smart Corridor: Guided the preliminary design, covering major road widening, junction improvements, extensive active travel enhancements (bus lanes, cycle facilities, subways, bridges), and crucial links to Oxford.Core Responsibilities & Expertise:Across these projects, I direct multi-disciplinary teams, manage project delivery including commercial aspects (CEs, EWNs, fee proposals), lead technical and stakeholder meetings, coordinate utility diversions, and ensure H&S/CDM compliance for clients like Oxfordshire County Council and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (AlUla).I oversee engineering and Civil 3D teams producing DMRB/MCHW standard drawings (Series 10•••00) and prepare key technical documentation (departures, safety plans, design rationales, specifications, BoQs). As Lead Verifier for the Streets Team, I ensure submissions meet client briefs and maintain the highest quality standards.
