35 years of experience in the field of Education in India and abroad, out of which 25 years as Director/ Principal. An alumnus of NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore, a Gold medallist from Bangalore University, holds a PhD in Biotechnology and holds a Certificate in School management from Harvard Business School and certifications from IB and Cambridge. Experienced and held the position of Director in reputed Business Schools.Expertise: Leadership training, teacher training, instructional design and strategy development, quality management, and audits of educational institutions. Is a Resource person for CBSE Centre of Excellence Chennai, CoE Bangalore, Aditya Birla Education Academy Mumbai, and established online training & educational consultancy, namely DK Education, incubated at NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore. Experience with CBSE and Govt authorities: Served National Testing Agency (NTA), in the capacity of State Coordinator of Karnataka and Goa during 2018-19. CBSE assignments handled are, Affiliation inspections, Observer of Science expo & Board examinations, Centre Superintendent, City Coordinator, Curriculum Committee Convener (Kannada), Counsellor of CBSE helpline, etc,Counseling and Guidance: Certified Counsellor from ICTRC and Banjara Academy. Counselor at CBSE Helpline, MHRD’s Manodarpan, and J&K Department of School Education’s helpline “Aao Baat Kare”. Conducted Career Counselling Sessions in Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Thailand.Published articles in newspapers, research papers in journals, and presented papers at National Science Congress and many other forums. Has many prestigious awards for the work done in the field of education.Have been on the educational panel for AIR, Radio FM 93.1, TV9, Suvarna TV, Raj TV, TV5, and Chandana and has done many educational talks some of them being TEDx, Baker’s Talk, and Mai insights.
