At Kan & Krishme, I work as an Intellectual Property Attorney, handling a wide range of IP matters including the drafting and filing of trademark, patent, copyright, and design applications in India and internationally, as well as prosecution and litigation of such matters within India. I manage client cases end-to-end, from initial advisory and filings to enforcement and representation before relevant regulatory and judicial bodies, including the Hon’ble High Courts. My role includes conducting in-depth legal research, preparing pleadings and legal opinions, and helping clients safeguard and enforce their intellectual property rights through a strategic and practical approach. I also regularly draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to Intellectual Property Rights, including but not limited to assignment deeds, licensing agreements and confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). My work ensures that clients’ IP transactions are secure, enforceable, and commercially sound. In addition, I provide legal advisory on advertising and marketing laws in India, assisting clients in navigating regulatory frameworks and ensuring compliance. This includes reviewing promotional strategies and offering guidance on a wide range of advertising-related legal issues in the Indian context.
