About Dakotah Jordan
With over five years of experience in the field of suicide prevention and wellness education, I am passionate about creating and delivering impactful and evidence-based programs and trainings for young adults and professionals. As the Education and Postvention Manager at Lost & Found, a nonprofit organization based in Sioux Falls, SD, I lead the development and implementation of the Postvention department, which provides best practices and guidance for campuses and communities after a suicide loss. I am a certified Community Health Worker (CHW), Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Instructor, and Counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM) Instructor, and I have presented at national and local conferences on topics related to suicide prevention, postvention, grief, and wellness. I believe that leaders should be open-minded, collaborative, and solution-oriented, and that everyone has a role to play in preventing suicide and promoting resilience. My goal is to empower others with the knowledge, skills, and resources to support themselves and their peers, and to create a culture of hope and healing.
