ABOUT DAKOTA SHAW
Studying both political science and environmental studies has deepened my understanding and perspective of the complex issues that climate change poses to our future. Through environmental policy, we can not only regulate the causes of climate change, but also correct the disparities of where burdens fall. Through my past internships I have worked to deepen my understanding of political systems and get involved in environmental non-profits committed to uplifting marginalized communities and climate justice. In my future work I look forward to combing both of these perspectives in environmental policy to work towards a just and green transition.
