UKGovCamp is a leading free annual unconference dedicated to making government better. It brings together government practitioners, civil servants, third-sector professionals, and citizens to share knowledge, innovate public services, and collaborate openly. Known for its participant-led agenda and inclusive atmosphere, UKGovCamp embodies the mission to “Make Government Great Again” by fostering fresh ideas, community engagement, and systemic change in public sector work.In this role, I- Support cross-government knowledge sharing by co-organising UKGovCamp, facilitating dynamic and inclusive conversations among diverse stakeholders- Lead community engagement strategy focused on fostering inclusive participation and collaboration between civil servants, third-sector professionals, and citizens- Revitalise a stalled community event series by initiating and leading a discovery process, utilising user research to diagnose core challenges and develop a new, sustainable event strategy- Contribute to the long-term development of UKGovCamp, evolving it from an annual event into a thriving community through user research and service design- Dedicate to the mission of connecting people with government parties to enhance collaboration and shared understanding.
