About Daisy Gates
I am a recent graduate of the University of Rhode Island, where I pursued a double major in Communications and Public Relations, with a minor in Business of Digital Media. I have experience in email marketing, member retention, web design, event planning, and social media content creation from both my internships; a Communications Intern at Rhode Island Medical Society and an Account and Social Media Intern at McGuinness Media and Marketing. Currently, I am gaining experience in project management, promotional materials, client relations, and graphic design. Some of my skills include relationship-building, problem-solving, customer service, communication, and adaptability. I wish to continue to work in the fields of Communications, Public Relations, and/or Marketing/Advertising in the future. I am currently gaining my Master of Arts in Communications at the University of Rhode Island, through the accelerated program.
