ABOUT DAISY FROUD
I am a specialist in participatory design, community engagement and co-production. I devise and implement collaborative processes to enable inclusive decision-making, particularly around the making - and sustaining - of buildings and places. All my work - from one-off workshops and events, to longer term co-clienting and governance structures - over 25 years of thinking and doing, has the core aim of maximising the space available for those who do not hold formally recognised types of power (land, money, political office) to determine outcomes. An experienced strategist and facilitator, I am skilled in enabling diverse groups to identify shared priorities and ways forward in situations where policy and resource constraints, historic power dynamics, or embedded ways of thinking and doing pose challenges.
