Responsible for leading ADT’s West Region (AK, HI, CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, UT, CO, OK, NV, AZ, NM, and TX) EHS strategic initiatives and supporting the governance, processes and systems to assess and monitor risks and performance.Selected Accomplishments:Safety Management Systems (SMS): Developed safety programs, state/national Injury and Illness Prevention Programs (IIPPs), industry specific safety alerts, training materials resulting in positive performance of three Key Performance Indicators (KPI): total recordable incidents (TRIs), days away restricted transferred (DART), and lost day severity rate (LDSR).Workers’ Compensation: Implemented a First Report of Injury (FROI) process that alerted relevant leaders of a work-related incident simultaneously. This process was initiated when an injured employee’s manager reported an incident in the collection system. This led to increased visibility for impacted leaders and a sharp increase in investigation partnership from key leaders.Fleet Management: After a change in the telematics administrator, I led the overhaul of ADT Patrol’s fleet telematics system and monitoring structure. Partnering with operations and the new administrator, we created a behavior-based monitoring program with a focus on individual drivers in shared vehicles. This resulted in a rapid implementation of the program and reduced preventable collisions by 60% in its first year.
