ABOUT JESSICA PIERCE

I love creating products + spaces that improve women’s lives. I am a Clemson (BS Chemistry, MS Toxicology) and Lander (MBA) graduate and published researcher with 11 years of experience working on Product Development teams crafting novel cellulosic and nonwoven fabrics. I use my expertise to design environmentally conscious products that are skin-friendly and offer premium comfort, softness, absorbency, and breathability. I am proud to work for Fitesa, the second largest hygiene spunmelt supplier worldwide. We have 23 manufacturing locations across 13 countries; in my role, I am responsible for traveling to these global sites to ensure the scale-up success of new products developed by my team. The greatest joy of my job is the opportunity to meet and work with people in so many different cultures. Above all, I enjoy connecting with people and learning from them. My most important personal value is to learn something new every day. I am very passionate about continuous improvement and learning, both inside and outside the work environment. Part of my personal calling is developing more women leaders; I read every book about leadership that I can get my hands on and I lean into opportunities to study and develop myself and others. I am committed to supporting other women and uplifting their voices + magnifying their experiences. My mission, professionally and personally, is to expand the space in which women can live with confidence and joy.
