My role is highly research-driven, focusing on deep troubleshooting, log analysis, and root cause investigations across the full range of Cato’s features, while also advising customers on network topologies, deployment strategies, and best practices to optimize performance, security, and reliability.Key areas I cover daily include: Networking & WAN – SD-WAN, IPsec/GRE tunnels, dynamic routing (BGP), NAT, VLANs, QoS, VRRP, topology design & optimization Security Services – Next-Gen Firewall, IPS, TLS inspection, certificate troubleshooting, Anti-Malware, Threat Prevention, URL Filtering, DLP, CASB, ZTNA Identity & Access – Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, MFA, IdP integrations, authentication troubleshooting Remote Access & Endpoint – Cato VPN Client, Always-On connectivity, endpoint posture checks Visibility & Monitoring – Real-time analytics, flow & event logs, packet captures Some of the Tools – Linux CLI, Wireshark, advanced log forensics, Grafana, RedashDelivering not just immediate fixes but end-to-end investigations that ensure stability, security, and optimal performance across Cato’s converged networking and security platform.
