Managing a $120M humanitarian portfolio, spanning over 35+ projects funded by 15+ donors such as US donors (USAID/BHA/WRA), European Union (ECHO, GFFO, SIDA, SDC), United Nations (OCHA, UNHCR), Ministries of Foreign Affairs (Danish/Dutch/French), and private foundations, by managing grants databases, advising on compliance, and ensuring quality humanitarian programming and reporting. • Securing over $70M in new and sustained funding by facilitating proposal design sessions, coordinating programmatic teams, writing and editing compelling proposal narratives and emergency appeals, and aligning materials with donor expectations. • Advising external donor communications and engagement by monitoring donor trends and identifying prospective donors, developing donor stewardship strategies, and creating advocacy materials for high-value funders. • Leading project cycle management by conducting grant opening, review, and closing meetings and supporting area offices using award management tools such as workplans, monthly financial reports, and procurement plans and ensuring all projects align with donor regulations. • Coordinating with Partnership Unit to work with local women/feminist-led and LGBTQI organizations to develop proposals and implement programming through a participatory approach to enhance their crisis response capacity and build trust-based relationships with each organization. • Monitoring quality assurance of all project data by liaising with the monitoring and evaluation team and program teams to ensure all project data is represented and verified in KoBoToolbox and accurately reflected in all progress and narrative reports. • Serving as an age, gender, diversity mainstreaming focal point to increase Danish Refugee Council’s integrity and credibility in delivering humanitarian assistance by ensuring staff understand systemic gender inequalities and that all programming incorporates gender mainstreaming principles.
