About Beulah Dadala
As an Associate Scientist at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, I leverage my bioengineering background and skills in cell culture, process development and automation to support the development of large molecule therapeutics. I co-lead the Automation group, where I train personnel, integrate new equipment and labware, and optimize processes for efficiency and quality.Previously, I worked as a Research Associate at Neurona Therapeutics, where I produced IND-enabling clinical cellular products using adherent and suspension cell culture platforms. I also executed engineering runs in the Pilot Lab, mastering the process from thaw to cell culture feeds, platform transfer, harvest, and cryopreservation. Additionally, I authored batch records, equipment SOPs, qualification protocols, and raw material specification documents using GDP to contribute to the GMP facility\'s release qualification package. My undergraduate research at Gladstone Institutes focused on developing biocompatible bioreactors for dynamic 3D cell cultures for aging studies and extended neural cell cultures. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley College of Engineering.
