Worked with King County, local jurisdictions, and community partners to develop and implement a near-term and longer-term strategy with 20 actions that will effectively and equitably reduce the impacts of extreme heat on King County communities. Currently working on implementing the King County Extreme Heat Mitigation Strategy with county and other local partners- Engaged with over 900 individuals in development of the strategy- Integrated extreme heat into 6+ existing bodies of work in King County- Included $30k of funding to go towards community-led projects through the King County Climate Community Resilience Grant in 2025.
