In my most recent capacity I\'ve held oversight, supervised, supported the running of Control Risk Group operations within 3 cities in Iraq, comprising a fleet of 400 B6 armoured Toyota Land Cruisers and coordinating around 1200 mostly local personnel. I managed expenditure in developing robust budget plans aligned to Iraq operational requirements. It meant driving performance, achieving this through effective line management, directing all Control Risk staff, monitoring development and growth, while ensuring timely submission of related reviews to track expansive strategy execution. Notable achievements include: • Formulated and distributed policy, and strategic planning, along with change management according to requirements. • Maintained peace through crisis management in challenging office situations, including hostile office inspections, demonstrations, as well as frequent threats and violent attacks. • Ensured all legal, governmental agency, and regulatory compliance within varying environments with ISO accreditation, preserving company status and industry leaders. • Expanded humble fleet of 5 B6 armoured Land Cruisers to 400 within 10 years. • Implemented and delivered Critical Assessment training, upskilling, and staff to improve services while maintaining high training standards. • Increased and maximised revenue by assuring that all Iraq-based contracts were fully manned and serviced. • Converted workforce from 100% ex-pat to 75% local employees, while upskilling, turning workforce of Iraqi-Arab speakers into Arab-English speakers. • Minimized costs by building Business centre with hotel accommodation achieving turnaround to achieve 65% net profit YOY for 20••••19 (pre-Covid). • Launched and bolstered new growing business (from Iraq) in Mozambique, guiding brand alignment to meet oil sector client demands.
