About D. Blaine Greer

In 2008, at the age of 20, while the global economy began to spiral into a recession, I found myself in a small, quiet town in Costa Rica, where I was serving as a missionary. It was my time as a missionary that cultivated my passion for serving people, as well as my desire to gain an understanding of how money and business work. That small spark of interest has grown into an actualized dream of more than eight years of finance/accounting experience. While pursuing my BS in accounting, I worked at an independent investment brokerage firm in Scottsdale, AZ. After completing my degree, I went on to have a productive career as a cost analyst for Freeport McMorRan Inc. At that time, I also earned my MBA. Having grown up in Benson, AZ, I jumped at the Edward Jones opportunity to come back and fulfill my aspiration of providing financial advice to my childhood community. My team includes an extraordinary Branch Office Administrator, Ruth Grissom. Ruth has a passion for helping individuals. Our team uses an established 5-step process to help make each client feel understood, informed, in control and ultimately secure with all aspects of their financial life. I enjoy educating clients and helping them make smart financial decisions. Relationships are key and we focus on you. The firm has thousands of people and advanced technology supporting our office so that Ruth and I can help you and your family reach your financial goals. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Hannah, who before being a full time stay at home mom taught high school math. Together we have three children, Kyson (7), Olivia (3) and Carson (1).
