Oversaw the testing and commissioning of Power Supply and Distribution (PS & D), Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and Tunnel Ventilation System (TVS) for one of Canada’s largest transit expansion projects by implementing standardized testing protocols, ensuring operational readiness for 15 substations and 51 ventilation zones.• Operational knowledge in energization, power isolation, and LOTO (lockout/tagout) procedures for 27.6kV AC and 750V DC traction power systems, by enforcing safety critical procedures for traction power substations (TPSS) equipment and overhead catenary systems (OCS), achieving zero safety incidents across field work hours.• Inspected, maintained, and troubleshot electrical equipment, including transformers, rectifiers, UPS systems, switchgears, tunnel lighting, emergency trip system, and substation components, using equipment manuals, procedures, operation and maintenance documents to reduce downtime and optimizing operational performance. • Executed SCADA testing for PS & D and TVS systems, validating data accuracy and control functionality between field devices and Operation Control Centre monitoring platforms, to provide a seamless integration between devices.• Led coordination amongst 35+ key stakeholders, such as clients, subcontractors, and vendor, to streamline commissioning activities, ensuring timely execution, adherence to project timelines, and efficient resolution of operational challenges.• Proactively identified and resolved commissioning issues, by systematically documenting deficiencies through real-time field inspections and digital deficiency tracking system, ensuring remediation and timely project close-out. • Delivered clear solutions to technical teams, management, and stakeholders by developing, analyzing, and interpreting technical reports, manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings to diagnose issues, and prevent potential rework costs.
